Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick Continue Bid for the Sprint Cup

Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS, and Kevin Harvick, driver of the No. 4 Budweiser/Jimmy John’s Chevrolet SS, continue to represent Stewart-Haas Racing in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Following the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Motor Speedway on Sunday, October 18, Busch is third in points, 18 points behind Chase leader Joe Logano, while Harvick is seated fifth, 24 points out of first.

Five races are left in the 10-race Chase. One race remains of the Contender Round, after which the Chase field shrinks to eight drivers for the Eliminator Round. Only four drivers will advance to the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship, which will take place Sunday, November 22, at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The next event on the Sprint Cup schedule is the October 25 CampingWorld.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. The race starts at 2:30 p.m. EDT with live coverage provided by NBCSN.
