Dear Answer Man,

I realize there is a Help/Calculator page in the Haas control, but if the control could calculate simple inputs with +, -,*, /, that would great! I use this feature in my CAD program all the time.

Dear Bill:

The CALC display will accept and evaluate a simple expression. The calculator allows you to enter a simple, one-line expression without parentheses, such as 23*4–5.2+6/2. It will be evaluated when the WRITE/ENTER key is pressed, and the result (89.8 in this case) will be displayed in the calculator box. Multiplication and division are performed before addition and subtraction.
